Difference between the addition silicone and condensation silicone

As we all know, rtv-2 silicone rubber includes addition silicone rubber and condensation silicone rubber. The performance of these two types of silicone rubber is different. Below we introduce the difference between addition silicone and condensation silicone rubber from the composition and use. Difference in composition Addition silicone rubber, also known as platinum-cured silicone, is a non-toxic and odorless RTV-2 silicone. The ratio of part A to part B is 1:1 or 10:1. It does not produce small molecules during the reaction and has low shrinkage. . The color is semi-transparent or transparent. Condensed silicone rubber is also called tin-cured silicone rubber. It is composed of part A silica gel and part B tin curing agent. The ratio is 100:2-100:4. The base color is white or translucent. Other colors can be adjusted with pigments and added to form silica gel. In comparison, a little odor and small molecules are generated during the reaction. Usage differences Addition molding sil
